OUR LASER TECHNOLOGY

How does it work?

Our medical grade Cutera laser system uses innovative technology that targets specific conditions non-invasively on the face and the body, and with little discomfort and minimum downtime. We chose which type of laser system would achieve best results on a case by case basis, whether we are targeting broken capillaries, sun damage and sun spots, redness, rosacea, or other skin concerns.

The medical grade KLaser treatments use a 445nm (nanometres) wavelength, which is part of the blue light spectrum. This ablative (invasive) laser removes undesired lesions - moles/skin tags - from the skin, with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue. This makes lesion removal possible without cutting or stitches being required.

How many treatments will I need?

This will depend on the severity of the problem and the size of the area to be treated. Our appointments start at 15 minutes, and go up to one hour, most treatments can be performed in a 15-30 minute appointment.

During your consultation, we will discuss this with you and let you know your personal treatment plan.

Will it hurt?

The Cutera excelV laser treatments performed are surprisingly comfortable. Although some heat can be felt by the patient, it is minimal and passes rapidly. No numbing cream is needed to perform these treatments and clients report very minimal, if any discomfort.

The KLaser treatment technology makes lesion removal possible without cutting or stitches being required. There is minimal downtime and the area is treated as a wound post laser. A local anaesthetic will be used and no sensation will be felt during the quick procedure. Multiple lesions can be treated in one appointment.
